About this Event

“ worship should be, and can be
a transforming engagement with God,
that touches hearts, minds and spirits…”

You’ve bought the books, changed the texts, maybe even got the T-shirt: now it’s time to address the worship!

After a number of years of generating new texts, the Liturgical Commission is refocusing its attention on encouraging clergy and congregations to rediscover what lies at the heart of worship. Transforming Worship is a day to engage with what worship should be and can be; a transforming engagement with God, that touches our hearts, minds and spirits.

The day aims to give confidence to clergy and lay-people alike to raise the subject of renewing and revitalising worship in their own church situation. The day will be led by Peter Moger, the Church of England’s National Worship Development Officer, and member of Praxis Council.
